4 Days Lake nakuru-Amboseli Camping
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park.
You will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi early in the morning at 7:30 am, to depart for Amboseli National Park arrivng at the camp in time for hot lunch. After a short rest you will head for your afternoon ame drive dring which you will be able to see animals while they are out of their hideouts to graze or ffor predators to hunt. Cool afternoons offer grate opportunities for photography and especially when the herbivores will be assembling at their prefered sites for night's rest.
Amboseli National Park is also famous for being the place to get close to free-ranging elephants in their large numbers. Weather permiting, the park has best views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing volcanic mountain in the world. In the evening after dinner, you can assemble at the campfire to share your experiences with other travelers.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park (Full Day)
You will have an early morning game drive to catch up with the African sunrise. A morning game drive is always the most rewarding since you will find that most animals are very active and fresh, looking for food for the day in the open savannah grassland. You can head for a day's game with a packed picnic lunch to at the observation hill during the day, when the sun gets hot and most of the animals gather near the swamps to quench their thirst and cool themselves. The cats also tend to retire under shades till the heat receeds then most animals will show up. Amboseli has four members of the Big Five, which are found here all year round. The park also has a variety of bird species, with 470 species recorded, many of which are migrants, with almost 60 species being raptors. Your dinner and overnight stay are at the camp.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park to Naivasha
Have an early morning game drive before returning to the camp for late breakfast. Bid bye and departure for Naivasha with lunch en-route arriving in the late afternoon. There's an option of boat ride in this fresh water lake to see hippopotomas and birds apart from the beaty of the crescent Island. Dinner and night in a Naivasha Hotel.
Day 4: Naivasha- Nakuru- Nairobi
After an early breakfast, we drive to Lake Nakuru for an extensive gamedrive to see the Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffes, Fflamingoes and many other plains game. There are also chances of spotting Lions and Leopard. Lunch is in Nakuru before we drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the early evening.
